Pastor Rodney Orr
Hi. My name is Rodney and I am someone who is passionate about communication, communicating with people about God and God’s Word, the Bible. I am someone with a varied experience. I am a plumber by trade and I know what it is to stand for Christ even on the building site. I spent 20 years working in a Christian charity living in Vienna, Manila and England working in all communities. I have had the privilege of working within various roles such as, teacher, preacher, trainer and evangelist passionately involved in discussions about truth with people of all walks of life and faiths. With words or with the performing arts I seek to relate to people about life and faith in God. After travelling extensively, training and teaching in numerous countries, I now work as the Pastor of Fore Street Methodist Church and I am also the Co Founder of HopeLink, a charity focused on helping children and young people by providing an educational programme, feeding, and helping wherever possible by meeting the needs of the whole person.
Hannah Cole – Youth & Children's Worker
Hi, I have been a part of the congregation at FSMC since 2007. After living in Cheltenham for a while I returned in 2012 and continued to be a part of the work of this church.
I shall primarily be working with our amazing 8-16 year olds in our church and in our community, but hope to have opportunities to work with all the children, youth and their families too. After a lot of praying, reading and chatting with other Christians, both from Fore Street and other churches, I felt that God was really encouraging me to step out and apply. I am so delighted and feel so honoured to have been chosen to do His work in this role and am so excited to see how God moves over the next three years.
I am looking forward to spending time building a God centred community with our young people; hanging out, eating cake, playing games and being there to help them grow their faith, understanding and relationship with Jesus.
Hannah is married to Aaron. They have a dog. Most of FSMC think it is a 'cockapoo'!
