New Service at Trewidden Residential Home

We have accepted an invitation from the home to take a service once a month on Tuesday mornings at 11:00am. Katrina Geraughty will be the pianist. Any and all are welcome to come and join in with the service, especially helping the singing during worship. This is another great opportunity to serve in your community as part of God's one church. The home is located besides the road to Trenwith Car Park.

Gift Aid Collection Envelopes.

Books of envelopes for the new tax year will shortly be available in the Foyer. Existing users: please help yourselves. If any tax payers wish to join the scheme, please speak to Tony (Tel.798385  email: tony@smalltown.co.uk). By putting your offering in a numbered envelope, the church is able to obtain a tax refund of approx. £1.25 for every £5 given but by continuing to put your offering in as loose cash means no rebate can be claimed!! Why let the Inland Revenue keep it when we could be using it for our on-going ministry?

Rewan Ashby & Mission Direct

Rewan is hoping to spend 2 weeks in Zambia this summer with Mission Direct. This is a Christian organisation that encourages people of all ages to spend a short time working with local communities in the poorest parts of the world. Rewan will be involved in helping to finish building projects that provide safe accommodation and education for the street children. He will also get the chance to spend time with the children in various activities. He has to raise sponsorship in order to take part and has set up a fundraising page on the link below. This also gives more information about the project.
