Fore Street Methodist Church (FSMC) believes in growth - in faith, in numbers, in mission and ministry - with a longing to see young people play their part in the mission of God by becoming committed Christians, expressing that commitment through membership of and active participation in the life and fellowship of FSMC.
We recognise that our children and youth as a part of God's body now and not just the church of the future. We are looking for the right person to inspire, nurture and travel with us as a Church community on this journey of faith.
The post requires flexibility as there will be a need for evening and weekend working; holidays will be 28 days per year (pro rata) and the post is pensionable. Applicants should be current, active members of a Christian church, with experience in relevant fields and an ability to relate to a wide spectrum of people.

This half-time post (20hours/week) carries a salary of £9100pa
The post involves both a leadership role, including worship and prayers, and a representational role within the church.
As such it is a genuine occupational requirement that the holder is a Christian and an active committed member of a church to which s/he belongs. References will be required along with safeguarding checks.
